Ever think of taking your blood pressure with a smart phone? If so, you may be in luck. Some companies are busy developing medical apps that would do just that.

Mobile health, or “mHealth,” is the latest craze among software designers and health industry companies that want to tap the potential of smart phones for purposes of health. As this Baltimore Sun story says: “Rockville-based CTIS Inc., for instance, is working with Walter Reed Army Medical Center to design an app called “mWarrior” for soldiers suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder to use on smart phones.
