Anaheim General regains accreditation
Orange County Register

Anaheim General Hospital has regained national accreditation, another step in its comeback since correcting widespread patient safety violations. This week, the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program informed CEO Tom Salerno of the decision after an unannounced survey in December. In October, the 142-bed hospital regained approval to bill Medicare and Medi-Cal for treating patients. The hospital had not collected any payment for more than a year after a series of failed safety inspections cut off government funding.
