Enrollees in the Medicare Advantage program will see considerable increases in out-of-pocket costs starting next year, according to an analysis from the chief actuary at the CMS that was released by the Senate Finance Committee.

The findings were a response to a Sept. 24 letter of request from Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), Mike Crapo (R-Idaho), John Kyl (R-Ariz.) and Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) that asked a series of questions related to the health reform law’s effect on Medicare Advantage.
