‘Transforming for Tomorrow’ Series Continues Wednesday
Comparison of hospital analytics, trends in care, readiness for change

Session 2 of this four-part program will take an in-depth look at key analytics and insights from the CHA “Transforming for Tomorrow” Task Force, which reviewed national and California health care marketplaces to develop a final report — a “transformation roadmap” for hospitals. Faculty will focus on the “Vulnerability Index,” a framework used to assess California hospitals’ relative exposure to trends and readiness for the future. Session 2: Scan will also cover health care trends, consumer engagement and the effects of scale and integration. This complimentary, members-only program is tailored for executive leadership and hospital strategic planning teams. This session is offered on Sept. 19 and Sept. 25; register for either date at www.calhospital.org/transforming-web.

Program Background
Issued earlier this year, the final report was produced in consultation with Deloitte Consulting, LLP, which assisted in developing strategies for change that address California’s unique environment. The series of four web seminars began Aug. 23 and will run through Oct. 31. Session 1 included an overview of the taskforce’s purpose and recommendations. Remaining sessions will provide a scan of the environment, exploration of strategic paths and planning for transformational change.
