Registration Open for 53rd Annual Hospital Volunteer Leadership Conference
Edge of Possibilities: Refined Wisdom, New Volunteer Pathways

California Association of Hospitals and Health Systems Volunteer Services is pleased to announce its 53rd California Hospital Volunteer Leadership Conference.

The conference, which will take place Feb. 15-18, 2016, at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa on Del Monte Golf Course, gathers together top thinkers and innovators in volunteerism and health care. Cross-disciplinary trailblazers from hospitals, foundations, government, business, academia and community-based organizations will share insights into current best practices and the future of health care volunteerism.

The framework for more than 30 educational sessions will be provided by opening session speakers including Christine Carter, Ph.D., a sociologist and senior fellow at UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center; Sean Rogers, Ph.D., SPHR, SHRM-SCP, assistant professor of employment relations, HR, and law, School of Hotel Administration, Cornell University, and fellow at the Cornell Institute for Healthy Futures; BJ Miller, MD, executive director, Zen Hospice Project, San Francisco; Steven J. Packer, MD, president/CEO, Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, Monterey; and Arthur A. Sponseller, president/CEO, Hospital Council of Northern and Central California, Sacramento.

The deadline to submit advertisements to the printed program is Jan. 15, 2016. A discounted sleeping room rate at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa on Del Monte Golf Course is available until Jan. 27, 2016. Sponsors are welcome to register at any time.
