Enroll by July 15 and save

CHA and the Regional Associations are pleased to announce that a third cohort of the California Physician Leadership Program will begin this fall. Developed by and for physician leaders and medical executives, the program is designed to strengthen hospital-physician alignment and physician engagement, enhance physicians’ strategic leadership skills and help them better navigate through an increasingly dynamic health care delivery system.

The program is a collaboration between CHA, the Regional Associations and USC’s Marshall School of Business, and offers a distinctive balance of academic and real-world subject matter experts to provide content that can be applied to issues physicians face in their daily practice. With a focus on group-based learning, participants will receive education on leadership strategies, core business principles and the ever-changing health care arena.

“This program affords physicians an incredible opportunity to advance their leadership, critical thinking and analytical skills, as well as learn ways to lead change within a rapidly evolving health care environment,” said David Perrott, MD, DDS, CHA senior vice president and chief medical officer.

Continuing medical education credits will be provided by the USC Keck School of Medicine. Physicians can earn up to 105 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.

The program is held from October 2017 to April 2018. Classes take place on a Friday and Saturday each month from 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. on or near the USC campus. For more information and to enroll, visit
