Registration Now Open for Training on Skilled-Nursing Facility QRP

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will host a two-day in-person training on the skilled-nursing facility (SNF) quality reporting program (QRP) that will go into effect Oct. 1. To be held in Atlanta on June 21 from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. (ET) and June 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (ET), the train-the-trainer event will provide SNFs with an overview of the requirements under the Improving Medicare Post-Acute Care Transformation (IMPACT) Act and the QRP. CMS notes that registration is limited to 250 people on a first-come, first-served basis, and that a special conference rate at the hotel is available for those who register by June 8.
