OSHPD Accepting Applications for Mini-Grants
Funding supports health career training for underrepresented groups

The Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD), Health Workforce Development Division, has announced a request of applications (RFA) for its Health Career Training Program Mini-Grants. The grants support projects that encourage economically and educationally disadvantaged and/or underrepresented groups to pursue health careers. Proposals will be accepted from public, private nonprofit and private for-profit organizations, including hospitals, located within California. This year OSHPD will fund $201,000 for 15 total awards in two categories: A) Health Career Conferences and/or Workshops ($12,000 each), and B) Health Career Exploration ($15,000 each).
