Not Too Late to Register for 2015 Hospital Quality Institute Conference
Keynotes include national and California experts in quality and patient safety

There is still time to register and participate in California’s preeminent quality and patient safety conference. Make plans now to join colleagues and learn about innovations and proven practices to take your organization to top levels of quality performance. The conference will be held Nov. 11 – 13 in Sacramento.

Conference attendees will be inspired by a faculty of national and state experts, and will take home strategies and resources to achieve reliable care. Keynotes include Tejal Gandhi, MD, MPH, president and CEO of the National Patient Safety Foundation and the Lucian Leape Institute; Gary Kaplan, MD, chairman and CEO of the Virginia Mason Health System; Robert M. Wachter, MD, professor and associate chairman of the Department of Medicine, University of California, San Francisco and author of The Digital Doctor: Hope, Hype and Harm at the Dawn of Medicine’s Computer Age; Thornton Kirby, FACHE, president and CEO of the South Carolina Hospital Association; and Rishi Manchanda, MD, MPH, president and founder of Health Begins, as well as a physician, public health innovator and author of The Upstream Doctors.

The conference also offers two concurrent breakout sessions featuring eight different sessions, and a “Meet the Press” style panel interview of national quality and patient safety leaders.
