Next Consent Law Seminar to Be Held April 30 in Pasadena
Still time to register — includes free 2013 Consent Manual

This year’s annual Consent Law seminar will examine the new HIPAA/HITECH law and how it can be operationalized for everyday situations. Participants will learn how the law applies to breaches, business associates agreements and patient access to e-PHI. Case examples will be used to demonstrate complex situations and hone decision-making skills.

The popular critical thinking session has been expanded to include more out-of-the-ordinary consent situations, such as managing disruptive patients, identity theft, loss of patient property and social media issues. The seminar also features additional sessions on reporting data and the expanding role of non-physician practitioners, as well as a new laws and health issues update.

Free Consent Manual
All attendees will receive a complimentary copy of the updated 2013 Consent Manual, the most comprehensive and acclaimed resource available to hospitals on patient consent for medical treatment and related health care law.

Remaining programs include April 30 in Pasadena, May 16 in Costa Mesa, May 29 in Sacramento and May 30 in San Ramon. For more information or to register, visit
