New Regulations Seek to Eliminate Toxins From Hospital Furniture
Webinar to focus on new statewide standards for flame retardant furnishings

California recently updated its flammability standard for upholstered furniture, paving the way for a marketplace of furniture free of toxic flame retardant chemicals. The Healthier Hospitals Initiative (HHI) and Health Care Without Harm invite hospitals to a free webinar on the health impacts of flame retardants, the implications of the new regulations for health care, and the opportunities for hospitals to create healthier interior spaces through the elimination of harmful chemicals in furnishings while reducing costs.
