NASADAD Releases State Adolescent Substance Use Disorder Guide

The National Association of State Alcohol and Drug Abuse Directors (NASADAD) has published a State Adolescent Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery Practice Guide, providing information on existing state guidance for adolescent substance use disorder treatment and recovery services. According to NASADAD, the report offers guidance in three broad areas – overarching principles of care, service elements and administrative considerations for states ­– and presents a variety of options for states to consider in managing their adolescent substance use treatment and recovery systems.
