More than 400 Hospital Volunteer Leaders Convene at Annual Conference

Last month’s Hospital Volunteer Leadership Conference, an annual CHA event, hosted more than 400 volunteers for three days of learning and collaboration in Newport Beach. The conference highlighted themes of change, transformation and innovation through workshops and presentations from more than 50 speakers.  Attendees from multiple states and British Columbia were offered a variety of educational tracks to focus their time on the principles of volunteer administration, fundraising and friendraising, retail science, people strategies, and patient-centered care. Dozens of exhibitors rounded out the program with hospital volunteer-related products and gift shop items. To view a photo gallery of conference highlights, visit
