Leadership for Quality Training Planned for HEN Week
Deadline to register for event, hotel room is Oct. 19

Senior leadership training is planned for Nov. 12, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., to discuss the important role CEOs, COOs, CMOs and CNOs will play in accelerating performance improvement and the successes and challenges HEN hospitals face as they work to achieve the goals of the California Hospital Engagement Network. The training precedes HEN Week’s National Improvement Collaborative in Indianapolis, Indiana, to be held Nov. 14-16, which is expected to draw participants from the more than 1,600 Hospital Engagement Networks from across the country to learn about best practices and resources for the 10 HEN clinical topics (see related article). While there is no charge for the event, online preregistration is required by Oct. 19. Grant funding is available through CHA for 15 senior leaders to attend. Contact CHA’s Mahsa Farahani at (916) 552 -7521 for grant information or to apply for funding. The event will be held at the host hotel, JW Marriott Indianapolis.
