International Health Care Leader Featured at 2018 California Hospital Volunteer Leadership Conference

Dr. Robin Youngson — an internationally renowned clinical leader with wide experience in health service improvement at the local, national and international levels — will be a keynote presenter at the 2018 California Hospital Volunteer Leadership Conference. In addition to being a founding member of the National Quality Improvement Committee in New Zealand, Dr. Youngson’s international experience includes working with the World Health Organization on patient safety. He is the founder of the Hearts in Healthcare organization and the author of the acclaimed book, Time to Care: How to Love Your Patients and Your Job. Dr. Youngson’s presentations will focus on reconnecting hospital volunteers and paid staff with their motivation for joining health care in the first place — caring for patients with compassion.

Now in its 55th year, the 2018 California Hospital Volunteer Leadership Conference will take place Feb. 19-21 at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach. Registration for attendees, sponsors and advertisers is available on the conference website, along with downloadable registration forms.
