HQI to Host Training Workshop on CPHQ Examination
July 11-12 in Sacramento; register by Monday for one free registration

The Hospital Quality Institute invites CalHEN 2.0 hospitals to attend a two-day intensive workshop that will provide principle-based information for health care quality professionals  preparing for the Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) examination. Participants are encouraged to register by June 20 to be eligible for:

  • One free registration to the two-day CPHQ training
  • One copy of the CPHQ handbook
  • One-year premium membership in the California Association for Healthcare Quality
  • Travel and accommodations reimbursement up to $600

The interactive workshop will take place July 11 – 12 from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. at the California Endowment Center in Sacramento. The workshop will cover up-to-date field information and key CPHQ exam content, outline topic areas in a focused walk through of the Healthcare Quality Handbook, and will discuss many study questions. It is intended for those seeking an integrated overview of the field, primarily those responsible for quality management and/or organizational improvement across the health care delivery continuum, as well as physicians, patient safety and compliance officers, utilization/care/case management professionals, risk management professionals and others responsible for improvement activities.
