The Hospital Quality Institute (HQI) along with the Collaborative Healthcare Patient Safety Organization (CHPSO) and the Alliance for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (AQIPS) are partnering to present the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Innovation Virtual Summit. This first-of-its-kind summit kicks off Feb. 16 with a series of four “pre-summit” webinars.

The pre-summit webinars will set the stage for a half-day virtual event on April 14, which will feature expert keynote speakers, general sessions offering valuable information, and individual breakout sessions addressing RCAs in specific environments. The summit will also explore how RCA and RCA2 can be more effective in developing solutions and spurring action to mitigate patient harm — an excellent educational resource for staff who currently conduct RCAs.

This is an opportunity for health care professionals to learn more about RCA best practices as well as the innovation of using the National Peer Protections to improve the processes and the delivery of patient care throughout the health care continuum.

This summit and pre-summit webinar series are complimentary for members of HQI, CHPSO, and AQIPS. Participants are welcome to register for one or all in the series.
