HQI Conference Essential for Quality and Patient Safety Leaders
Discount deadline near – register by Friday and save on tuition, accommodations

The 2015 Hospital Quality Institute (HQI) Conference is scheduled for Nov. 11 – 13 in Sacramento. This annual event is designed for everyone who cares about quality health care and who is committed to creating cultures of high reliability with zero preventable harm and optimal outcomes. Attendees of this year’s event can expect to take home best practices and actionable strategies to put to use right away.

Gain national perspective, innovative practices from esteemed faculty
This annual conference provides participants with the opportunity to learn from national and state experts in quality and patient safety, and take home strategies and best practices to achieve reliable care. Conference keynotes feature state and national experts, including Tejal Gandhi, MD, MPH, president and CEO of the National Patient Safety Foundation and the Lucian Leape Institute; Gary Kaplan, MD, chairman and CEO of the Virginia Mason Health System; Robert M. Wachter, MD, professor and associate chairman of the Department of Medicine, University of California, San Francisco and author of The Digital Doctor: Hope, Hype and Harm at the Dawn of Medicine’s Computer Age; Thornton Kirby, FACHE, president and CEO of the South Carolina Hospital Association; and Rishi Manchanda, MD, MPH, president and founder of Health Begins, public health innovator and author of The Upstream Doctors

The conference also offers two concurrent breakouts featuring eight different sessions, and a “Meet the Press” style panel interview of national quality and patient safety leaders. Breakout sessions highlight Caliofrnia hospitals with practices that work and insights gained in key topic areas. Two pre-conference sessions will also be offered.
