Hospital Volunteer Leadership Conference to Offer Health Screenings
Attendees can tour 'medical bus'

A 40-foot mobile health unit, provided by HealthFair, will be onsite Feb. 26 at the 2013 California Volunteer Leadership Conference — Feb. 25-28 in Newport Beach — to give attendees complimentary health screenings. Attendees also will be able to tour the “medical bus” and directly assess the features and services it offers, including health testing equipment, private screening rooms and waiting areas. The personalized screenings, available to conference registrants by pre-appointment only, take approximately 30 minutes. HealthFair, the only health screening company accredited by the Joint Commission, states that its goal is to “educate participants about health risks and diseases while empowering them to make healthy lifestyle changes.” HealthFair is an in-kind conference sponsor.

Held each year by the California Association of Hospitals and Health Systems, the conference is celebrating its 50th year of quality hospital volunteer leadership education. Registration is exclusively online and space is limited to 500 attendees per day. For more information and to register, go to www.calhospital.org/volunteerconference.
