Hospital Quality Institute Celebrates National Healthcare Quality Week
Recognizes contributions of quality professionals

Hospital Quality Institute (HQI) proudly joins the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) and those around the country in celebrating Healthcare Quality Week, Oct. 16-20. The week is designed to bring greater recognition to health care quality professions, the impact they make in their organizations, and the depth and potential of their contributions to the health and well-being of patients and communities.

In celebration, HQI has planned a series of free public webinars from noon to 1 p.m. (PT) each day. The webinars will be presented by leaders of California hospitals and national experts — including physician and writer Rishi Manchanda, MD – and feature topics such as improving patient safety event reports, the impact of advance care planning on quality of care at the end of life, opportunities for quality improvement in population health, and keys to quality and safety for medication use. For more information and to register, visit the HQI website. Certain webinar attendees will also receive $100 credit toward registration for the 2017 HQI Annual Conference; more details are available online.
