Terry Belmont, CEO of UC Irvine Medical Center and associate vice chancellor for medical center affairs, has announced that he will retire later this year. Belmont has served in his current capacity at UC Irvine for six years and has spent his entire career in health care, including stints as CEO at Long Beach Memorial and at St. Joseph Medical Center in Orange. Belmont, who has a master’s degree in public health, has served in volunteer leadership positions for CHA, the Hospital Association of Southern California and Hospital Association of San Diego and Imperial Counties.

“Terry Belmont has served hospitals with distinction, and he has been an active leader in HASC, HASD&IC and CHA.  We wish Terry well in his future endeavors,” said CHA President/CEO C. Duane Dauner.
