Discount Deadline Near for Rural Health Care Symposium
Rural hospital leadership to gather at Rancho Bernardo Inn, San Diego

CHA’s Rural Health Care Symposium will be held Feb. 26-28, 2014 at the Rancho Bernardo Inn in San Diego. Rural health care executives who register by Feb. 4 will receive substantial savings on tuition; registrations received after the deadline will increase by $100. While the host hotel is nearly sold out of sleeping rooms, overflow rooms at a discounted rate are available just minutes away at the Hilton Garden Inn. Visit the program web page for information on accommodations.

This year’s symposium features a distinguished faculty that will provide inspiration, information and tools to help rural hospital leaders transform hospital operations to meet the expectations of health care delivery under the Affordable Care Act.

New this year: First-day sessions will incorporate trustee inclusive information within all the topics. CEOs should plan to bring their board chairs and trustees to learn about topics such as the power and potential of partnerships, community care organizations in rural markets and how to develop the vital skills and expertise to be transformative leaders. Second-day sessions will offer an update on the progress of Covered California, how to maximize the potential of telehealth and the annual CEO roundtable discussion. View the complete agenda for more details about faculty and sessions to be offered.
