DHCS Seeks Public Comment on Proposed CCS Redesign County Measures
Public comment period open through Nov. 24

The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is inviting public comment on proposed county measures for its California Children’s Services (CCS) redesign Whole-Child Model proposal, scheduled to be implemented in specified counties no sooner than January 2017. The proposed measures were presented at the Oct. 21 CCS Advisory Group meeting and will be discussed at DHCS’ next Data and Quality Measures (D&QM) technical workgroup webinar, scheduled for Dec. 4 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. To help facilitate the D&QM technical workgroup discussion, DHCS is offering stakeholders the opportunity to provide feedback on the proposed measure definitions and to provide general comments on each measure. The proposed measures are available via SurveyMonkey, and comments may be submitted to DHCS via the same site. DHCS indicates the link will be active until Nov. 24 at 5 p.m. For more information about DHCS’ Whole-Child Model proposal or to register for the Dec. 4 webinar, visit the DHCS website.
