The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) has issued a Request for Applications for an administrator to oversee elements of the California Hub & Spoke System, otherwise known as the Medication Assisted Treatment Expansion Project. Applications are due June 14 at 4 p.m. (PT). More information is available in the scope of work and budget documents.

Through a two-year grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration for a state targeted response opioid grant program, DHCS has awarded 19 hubs across the state to partner with community health providers to expand access to care.

For the system administrator, DHCS is looking for organizations with extensive experience in administering, overseeing and monitoring multiple, complex projects, as well as experience serving as a fiscal intermediary managing large budgets and tracking payments to contractors.

Questions about the application process can be directed to DHCSMATExpansion@dhcs.ca.gov with the subject line “Questions – CA H&SS Administrator.”
