DHCS to Host Webinar July 25 on 1115 Waiver Renewal
Will discuss initial concepts for next waiver and stakeholder process

The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) will conduct a stakeholder webinar July 25 to discuss the attached 1115 Waiver renewal concept paper and the upcoming stakeholder process. DHCS will post webinar registration on its website early this week. The existing 1115 “Bridge to Reform” Waiver expires Oct. 31, 2015; DHCS intends to seek a renewal of the waiver, targeting early 2015 for submission to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

To kick off its stakeholder process, DHCS has developed the attached initial concepts for the next waiver and seeks input from stakeholders. DHCS is also developing an email inbox that it will share with stakeholders interested in submitting written comments on the draft concept paper.
