DHCS Convenes Stakeholder Advisory Committee

The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) convened its Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC) on Feb. 22 to discuss Covered California, 2014 eligibility and enrollment, and lessons learned from care transitions under the 1115 Bridge to Reform Waiver. Anne McLeod, CHA senior vice president, health policy, provided comment on the importance of having robust, sustainable provider networks as a key to the success of Covered California.

The SAC’s purpose is to provide DHCS with valuable input on the ongoing 1115 Bridge to Reform Waiver implementation, as well as help DHCS successfully transition to national health care reform. To view slides and minutes from the Feb. 22 meeting, visit www.dhcs.ca.gov/Pages/DHCSStakeholderAdvisoryCommittee.aspx.
