Deadline for Rural Health Care Symposium Is Feb. 27

Rural hospitals are always adapting — to community needs, changes in staffing, regulatory updates and changes to provider reimbursement. Change is unavoidable, and rural hospitals can prepare for it.

By participating in the annual Rural Health Care Symposium, to be held March 21-23 in Sacramento, rural health care leadership will receive tools, resources and tips for keeping pace with change. From regulatory compliance and recruitment, to contract management and facilities operation, attendees will be better prepared for what lies ahead.

CHA encourages hospital CEOs who are not able to attend the program to send a representative on their behalf. This two-day, executive-level symposium is not to be missed.

In addition to the annual CEO roundtable discussion, topics will include:

  • Establishing organizational culture and leadership’s responsibilities
  • Keeping pace with change
  • Health plan contracting – establishing profitable and meaningful relationships
  • Using a CEO dashboard to improve operational efficiencies and patient care
  • HCAHPS and beyond: using actionable data to drive improvement in patient and family experiences
  • Partnering with the community to treat patients with behavioral health issues
