The conference is a unique opportunity for members to share their emergency preparedness knowledge, innovative programs, tools and lessons learned with other member hospitals. This year, CHA expects to bring together more than 700 hospital emergency preparedness coordinators, hospital administrators, CNOs, EMS personnel and public health officials.

“Every year, our conference presenters demonstrate the remarkable efforts hospitals are making to advance disaster preparedness,” said Cheri Hummel, CHA vice president emergency management and facilities. “When we share new ideas and resources, as well as experiences, we can all benefit from better prepared hospitals and communities.”
