Dashboard Provides Key Data on Health System Quality, Spending, Access

A recently launched data tool offers a broad view of the U.S. health system’s performance compared to similar nations, including data on health and well-being, quality of care, spending, and access and affordability. Available on the Peterson-Kaiser Health System Tracker website, the new dashboard was compiled by the Kaiser Family Foundation in consultation with industry experts. In addition, a corresponding brief compiles dashboard data that illustrate the U.S. has made progress on measures such as life expectancy, disease burden and its uninsured rate, but continues to be outperformed by similarly large and wealthy countries in other areas.
