Covered California Schedules Stakeholder Webinar for Certified Application Counselor Program
Session to highlight proposed state regulations

Covered California will conduct a Certified Application Counselor (CAC) program regulations stakeholder webinar on Jan. 28 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (PT) to provide an overview of the proposed state regulations for the new program. Established by Covered California under the Affordable Care Act, the CAC program qualifies entities and individuals to help enroll consumers in the Covered California Qualified Health Plans and insurance affordability programs.

Covered California released the proposed CAC state regulations during its Jan. 23 board meeting. Stakeholders will have an opportunity to provide feedback to Covered California during the webinar and through Feb. 4. The Covered California board is scheduled to take action on the proposed CAC state regulations at its Feb. 20 board meeting.
