Conference to Feature Key Elements of Successful Hospital Volunteer Programs

The 2013 CAHHS California Hospital Volunteer Leadership Conference, Feb. 25-28 in Newport Beach, will offer more than 25 educational workshops on building  successful hospital volunteer programs. The workshops revolve around six key topics, including governance, fundraising (“friendraising”), patient-centered care, people strategies, volunteer administration principles in health care settings, and retail operations.
The conference general sessions, workshops, networking and special events are designed to reflect the way hospitals work, deliver care and collaborate. Volunteer and salaried staff across multiple hospital sectors will benefit from the conference learning experiences, especially those who are fundraisers, board members, trustees, and nurses, as well as guest services, retail and human resources personnel.

The CAHHS Hospital Volunteer Leadership Conference is celebrating its 50th year of quality hospital volunteer leadership education. Registration is exclusively online and available to attendees, exhibitors, sponsors and advertisers. Space is limited to 500 attendees per day.
