Conference Explores Changing Volunteer Roles

The 53rd annual California Hospital Volunteer Leadership Conference took place Feb. 15-18 in Monterey. Over the course of two-and-a-half days, 375 participants representing 123 hospitals explored avenues to build upon and improve the vast resources volunteers currently bring to their hospital organizations. More importantly, they studied new pathways and programs that would help to realign their resources in the direction their hospitals are taking towards reaching the goal of population health.
