The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator Seema Verma announced on Twitter on Monday that the agency has withdrawn its proposed Medicaid Fiscal Accountability Rule.

CHA is pleased that CMS responded to comments from CHA and other stakeholders that urged CMS to withdraw the proposed rule, which would have had devastating impacts to the Medi-Cal program. CHA will notify members when CMS formally withdraws the rule through a notice published in the Federal Register.
