CINHC Seeks Post-Acute Partners for RN Grad Pilot

The California Institute for Nursing & Health Care (CINHC) is seeking clinical partners with long-term or post-acute services (including skilled-nursing facilities) to participate in a pilot program for registered nurse (RN) graduates.

Through CINHC’s partnership with Masonic Homes of California, sponsoring facilities can offer new RNs an enhanced training opportunity at a reduced cost. The Transition to Practice pilot program encourages new nurses to learn specialized skills in long-term and skilled-nursing care. CHA has been working with CINHC to establish the program throughout the state, develop the professional role of new RNs and prepare them for the workplace. See attached documents for more information.
