CiMH to Offer Trainings on the DSM-5

The California Institute for Mental Health (CiMH) will host two separate day-long trainings to help providers better use and understand the fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5). The workshops — July 23 in Oakland and Aug. 14 in Los Angeles — will identify key changes between the DSM-IV and DSM-5, explore new diagnoses and groups of psychiatric disorders, highlight culturally based concepts of distress, and much more. Both sessions will be held from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more information and to register, visit
