CHFFA Announces Higher Maximum HELP II Loan Amount

The California Health Facilities Financing Authority recently announced an increase from $750,000 to $1 million in the maximum cumulative loan amount available under its Healthcare Expansion Loan Program II (HELP II). The loan program offers California’s nonprofit small and rural health facilities access to less expensive capital (3 percent fixed interest loans) to purchase or construct new facilities, remodel or renovate existing facilities, or purchase equipment or furnishings. To be eligible, facilities’ gross annual revenues cannot exceed $30 million unless the facility is a rural or district hospital. For more information on Help II, go to
