CHCF Publishes Guide for Tracking ACA Implementation in California

The California HealthCare Foundation (CHCF) has created a guide to track California’s progress toward launching key provisions of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) in January 2014. The guide describes the law’s requirements for public and private coverage and breaks each into implementation objectives — some complete, others under way and some not yet begun. CHCF plans quarterly updates for the guide, which is organized into four broad ACA goals, including expanding coverage; simplifying eligibility and enrollment; protecting health insurance consumers; and creating a new marketplace of private insurance. For more information, see the full guide at
