CHA’s Consent Law Seminar to Feature HIPAA/HITECH Law
Register now — first Southern California seminars in two weeks

This year’s annual Consent Law seminar, offered in multiple seminars throughout the state in April and May, will examine the new HIPAA/HITECH law and how it can be operationalized to everyday situations. In addition to learning how the law applies to breaches, business associate agreements and patient access to e-PHI, participants will benefit from case examples that demonstrate complex situations and hone decision-making skills. The popular critical thinking session has been expanded this year to include more out-of-the-ordinary consent situations such as managing disruptive patients, identity theft, loss of patient property and social media issues. The program also features sessions on reporting data, the expanding role of non-physician practitioners, and new laws updates.

Free Consent Law Manual
All attendees will receive a complimentary copy of the updated 2013 Consent Manual, the most comprehensive and acclaimed resource available to hospitals on patient consent for medical treatment and related health care law.

Programs begin April 17 in San Diego. Additional dates are April 18 in Ontario, April 30 in Pasadena, May 16 in Costa Mesa, May 29 in Sacramento, and May 30 in San Ramon. For more information or to register, visit
