For public relations and marketing executives

This post has been archived and contains information that may be out of date.

CHA has launched FightFluTogether, a consumer-focused campaign to encourage flu vaccination, developed in partnership with the California Department of Public Health, the California Medical Association, the California Immunization Coalition, and the Hospital Officers Association of California.

During the campaign kickoff press call on Sept. 24, CHA President & CEO Carmela Coyle, California Health & Human Services Agency Secretary Mark Ghaly, MD, and Jack Chou, MD, FAAFP, vice-speaker of the California Medical Association’s House of Delegates, shared thoughts on the importance of getting a flu vaccination amid the COVID-19 pandemic and discussed the growing FightFluTogether coalition, which has recruited more than 30 partners.

For any organization not already onboard, it’s easy to become part of the FightFluTogether initiative. To assist, simply amplify the campaign’s messages via social media posts. CHA will add logos, by request, to the “Partners” section on www.fightflutogether.org, linked to each organization’s flu vaccine web content.

CHA has also have developed a comprehensive package of social media assets, as well as public service announcements in English and Spanish
