CHA Disaster Planning Conference – Winners of Best Practices Showcase Announced

CHA congratulates this year’s Disaster Planning for California Hospitals conference Best Practices Poster Showcase winners. The selected entries – with some from as far away as Colombia in South America – will be displayed at the upcoming conference, to be held Sept. 28-30 in Sacramento. The showcase provides an opportunity for hospitals to learn from each other. This year’s winners include:

Other conference highlights include a pre-conference workshop on emerging infectious diseases and lessons learned from Ebola, 20 different breakout sessions and more. Celebrating its 10th year and with more than 600 people currently registered to attend, the conference is the largest statewide program for hospital emergency preparedness professionals.

The Sheraton Grand Sacramento has a limited number of rooms available at a discounted rate of $179.  Participants may call (800) 325-3535 and mention the CHA Disaster Planning Conference, or reserve a room online. The Hyatt Regency Sacramento no longer has rooms available at the discounted rate.
