CHA has begun widely sharing — via email and social media — a video of 2019 Board Chair Cal Knight, president & CEO of John Muir Health. In the video, Knight talks about the challenges and opportunities facing California’s hospitals over the next year, and touches on many of our priorities — including coverage, access, and behavioral health.
He recognizes that hospitals operate in a rapidly changing environment, while trying to keep costs in check and ensure health care access remains as broad and affordable as possible.
“By keeping our patients and communities at the forefront of our decision making, we can collectively improve the quality of life in the communities we serve,” Knight says.
