CDPH Issues Guidance on Ebola Preparedness for Primary Care Clinics

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) has issued the attached All Facilities Letter (AFL) to primary care clinics, sharing recent recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for Ebola preparedness. Earlier this week, CDPH issued a similar AFL for general acute care and acute psychiatric hospitals. The guidance for primary care clinics  includes the CDC’s:

The AFL also provides information on reporting suspected Ebola patients to CDPH and using the California Reportable Disease Information Exchange.
