CDPH to Hold Stakeholder Meetings on Regulations for Dialysis Service and Hospital Rehabilitation, Supportive Services

The California Department of Public Health has announced two upcoming stakeholder meetings: one on Oct. 10 to solicit feedback on regulations related to dialysis service and organ transplant centers, and one on Oct. 15 to discuss hospital rehabilitation, outpatient, and supportive services regulations.

Oct. 10 Meeting – Dialysis Service and Organ Transplant Center Regulations

The Oct. 10 meeting will be held at 1500 Capitol Ave., Training Room C, in Sacramento. The dialysis services regulations will be discussed from 2-2:45 p.m., and the organ transplant center regulations from 2:45- 3:30 p.m. CHA asks that member hospitals that provide dialysis services or have an organ transplant center, and that wish to comment on the regulations, please send their comments to BJ Bartleson, vice president, nursing & clinical services.

CDPH has prepared a discussion document for review before the meeting. Those planning to attend in person should reserve their seat by Oct. 3 via email to CHCQRegulationsUnit@cdph.ca.gov. More details are available in All Facilities Letter 19-32.

Oct. 15 Meeting – Rehabilitation, Outpatient, and Supportive Services Regulations

The Oct. 15 meeting will be held from 2-4 p.m. at 1500 Capitol Ave., Training Room B, in Sacramento. CDPH has prepared a discussion document for review before the meeting. Those planning to attend in person should reserve their seat by Oct. 10 via email to CHCQRegulationsUnit@cdph.ca.gov. More details are available in All Facilities Letter 19-33.
