CDC Updates Guidance on Zika Virus
CDPH conference call about Zika virus is tomorrow

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released two new interim guidelines for the Zika virus on Feb. 5 — one for the prevention of sexual transmission and another for health care providers caring for pregnant women and women of reproductive age. The new guidelines update the original guidance issued Jan. 22. The attached Health Advisory from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) summarizes the key elements in the CDC documents.
