CDC Guide Aims to Help Communities Prevent Youth Violence

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has published the attached report and companion guide in an effort to help community leaders, health professionals, families and youth reduce and prevent youth violence. The report, Preventing Youth Violence: Opportunities for Action, and guide, Taking Action to Prevent Youth Violence, offer information, evidence-based strategies and action steps to address homicide as the leading cause of death for youth ages 10 to 24.
