California State Trauma Plan Released for 45-day Public Comment Period

The Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA) has proposed the final draft of the State Trauma Plan for public comment. EMSA developed the document in collaboration with the State Trauma Advisory Committee and has released it for a 45-day public comment period. EMSA and the State Trauma Advisory Committee have indicated they view provider input as valuable in guiding the development of the California State Trauma System for the next five years. To view the proposed text of the plan, visit To respond directly to EMSA, use the comment sheet located at the site or submit comments to CHA at no later than Aug. 15.
