Reserve your space for the fall 2015 cohort

Physicians are encouraged to register soon for the California Physician Leadership Program, a unique, interactive and comprehensive program designed and delivered by physician leaders and renowned USC Marshall School of Business faculty. The program will enable physicians to assume greater leadership, serve as a driver of change and achieve better outcomes for patients. The discounted registration rate of $13,500 – a savings of $1,500 – is available through June 15.

Notable guest speakers include Gary Kaplan, chairman and CEO of Virginia Mason Health System; Erin DuPree, chief medical officer and vice president of The Joint Commission Center for Transforming Healthcare; and Julie Morath, president/CEO of the Hospital Quality Institute.

“One of the things that I think distinguishes this program is the caliber of the faculty. I have been incredibly impressed with how knowledgeable, articulate and accessible the faculty in this particular program has been,” said Joe Walker, MD, chief of staff and chair, Department of Psychiatry at Alameda Health System and a participant in the inaugural program.

Likewise, Dr. Shira Robbins, associate professor at the University of California San Diego Health System commented, “A leadership program like this one is imperative if we are to sit at the table as physicians and have a voice in determining the future of health care. I am very proud to be a part of the inaugural class.” Video testimonies from other program participants can be viewed at

Course sessions will be hosted on or near the USC campus for two days each month from September 2015 through April 2016. Upon completion, attendees will receive up to 105 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits from the USC Keck School of Medicine, and may waive the prerequisite courses if they pursue an MMM from USC.
