California Health Facilities Forum to Focus on Growth of the Retail Experience

The Fifth Annual California Health Facilities Forum, titled “Decentralized Healthcare and the Retail Experience,” is set for Sept. 18 in Garden Grove. Sponsored by the American College of Healthcare Architects and the American Institute of Architects California Council, this year’s forum will address trends in health care, including the evolving aspects of retail and the outpatient experience. The program also will focus on the role of future retail services in health care delivery. Featured speakers include Richard Satova, M.D., FACS, professor, department of surgery, University of Washington and senior science advisor at the U.S. Army Research and Material Command in Fort Detrick, Maryland; John Mattison, M.D., chief information officer, Kaiser Permanente; and a panel of hospital and clinical representatives.
