Applications Available for AHA Circle of Life Awards

The American Hospital Association (AHA) is now accepting applications for its 2016 Circle of Life Award program, honoring innovative palliative and end-of-life care in hospices, hospitals, health care systems, long-term care facilities and other direct care providers. The awards spotlight programs and organizations that serve as models or inspiration for other providers. The awards are supported in part by the California HealthCare Foundation and the Cambia Health Foundation, with major sponsorship from the Catholic Health Association, the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the National Hospice Foundation. Cosponsors include the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, the Hospice & Palliative Nurses Association/the Hospice & Palliative Credentialing Center, and the National Association of Social Workers.
