AHA Extends Deadline for RAC Survey to April 25
Data to support CHA and AHA efforts to improve RAC program

Because hospital input is essential this quarter in illustrating the impact recovery audit contractors (RACs) have on California hospitals, the American Hospital Association (AHA) has extended its RACTrac survey deadline from April 18 to April 25. RACTrac data is vital in supporting CHA’s and AHA’s active regulatory, legislative and legal advocacy for improvements to the Medicare RAC program.

AHA membership is not required to participate in RACTrac. CHA encourages all hospitals to participate regardless of AHA membership status. In addition, hospitals that submit data to RACTrac are eligible to use the newly launched RACTrac Analyzer, which allows providers to create peer groups and generate their own RACTrac data reports. To register for the survey or for technical assistance, participants should contact RACTrac support at (888) 722-8712 or ractracsupport@providercs.com. For more information about the survey, including the latest results, visit www.aha.org/ractrac.
